The Elmira Express boys and girls basketball teams both lost in the semifinals on Saturday at the Josh Palmer Fund Elmira Holiday Inn Classic in Elmira.
The Elmira girls lost to Cardinal O’Hara 74-69.
Zaria DeMember-Shazer and Morgan Gentile each scored 21 points for the Express.
Amelia Strong scored a game-high 26 points for Cardinal O’Hara.
Cardinal O’Hara will play Bishop Kearney in the finals on Sunday who defeated North Rockland in the semifinals 69-43.
The Elmira boys lost to Greater Latrobe 71-50 in the semifinals of the national division.
Greater Latrobe will play St. Stephens/St. Agnes in the finals who defeated Archbishop Hoban 61-53 in the semifinals.
