Local sports figures give thanks on Thanksgiving


ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Thanksgiving is a time of togetherness and reflection.

It’s also a time for area sports figures to give their thanks to what they’re most thankful for. From families to championships, 18 Sports takes a special look around the Twin Tiers amid a challenging year, to get a special perspective on the holiday.

Take a closer look at what some of the biggest local sports names are saying about Thanksgiving. Personalities include Gary Cramer, a Horseheads graduate who’s now a football life coach at The University of Alabama. Also, members of the Haverling girls soccer team after a Section V title win.

Plus, Penn State football commit Ben Knapp of Canton and two Horseheads golfers, George Mason bound Seth Conway and Southern Wesleyan signee, Zach Locke, gives us their words and more.
