The 18 Sports team takes a look back at the legendary career of Horseheads volleyball coach Patti Perone.
Perone is retiring after taking over as head coach of the Blue Raiders in 1987.
Her coaching resume at Horseheads includes 28 championship seasons, 623 career wins, 17 state final four appearances, and a state title in 2001.
Tim Crout has taken over as the new head coach of the Blue Raiders.
