Corning Hawk Drewno Signs with Chestnut Hill Lacrosse

Defensive standout captures dream

CORNING, N.Y. (18 SPORTS) - Corning Hawk standout Zach Drewno is heading to the next level. 

Drewno signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia next season. Zach now becomes a part of the long legacy of Corning standout players to play at the next level. 

A member of the 2017 Section IV Class A Boy’s Lacrosse Championship team, Drewno also played club lacrosse for the past five years with the Gaffer Elite Lacrosse Club. Zach participated at the 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Classic as a member of the Rochester squad on defense.

A leader on and off the field of play, Drewno is thrilled to take his talents to the collegiate level. 

Drewno is a high honor student and a member of the National Honor Society, he plans to study Business Administration & Management at Chestnut Hill College. 18 Sports takes you to the signing on Wednesday afternoon in Corning.
