ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 SPORTS) - Monday Night Raw celebrates its historic 25th Anniversary.
Elmira native, Beth Phoenix, spent years on the hit show which is the longest running weekly episode television cable show in history. Phoenix was a multi-time WWE Women's Champion and even competed in the Royal Rumble match, just the second women in history.
Phoenix, real name Beth Copeland, tells 18 Sports what her favorite Raw moment is of all-time. For Beth, we go back to the main event of Raw on December 22, 2008. A time when her and teammate Santino Marella faced WWE icons John Cena and Trish Stratus.
Beth continues to breakdown barriers in the WWE and entertainment industry. She became the youngest WWE Hall of Fame inductee last year at just 36 and recently was awarded the opportunity to serve as a color commentator for the Facebook exclusive Mixed Match Challenge.
The Monday Night Raw 25-year special airs tonight at 8 pm on the USA Network.
