Elmira Express football player Dan Fedor has a big opportunity to play at the next level.
Fedor, a standout offensive tackle for the Elmira Express, was officially announced by the Buffalo Bulls as part of their initial signees for the 2018 recruiting class. Last week, Fedor just won the Ernie Davis Award, an award given out to the top high school football player in the region.
Fedor’s new head coach, Lance Leipold, states that this is the best Buffalo has done in Western New York and the state in terms of recruiting. The 6-7 286-pound Fedor is thrilled to take his talents to the next level. Fresh off the Express’ Section IV Class AA title win in football, Fedor is now keeping busy as a center on Elmira boys basketball.

Offensive lineman with great footwork that also played tight end at Elmira High School. Helped lead the way for an Express offense that ran for more than 3,900 yards en route to the Section 4 Class AA title in 2017. Named a first-team Section 4 All-Star as a sophomore, junior and senior. Named All-State Second Team as a junior. Named the 2017 Kiwanis Male Athlete of the Fall. Was the 2017-18 Ernie Davis Award Winner – given to the top high school football player in Chemung County. Member of the National Honor Society. Also plays basketball at Elmira.
