Enforcers push winning streak to seven

The Elmira Enforcers won their franchise record seventh straight game on Saturday.

The Enforcers rallied back from a two goal deficit in the third period and defeated the Watertown Wolves in overtime 4-3.

Stepan Timofeyev scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the Enforcers.

Ahmed Mahfouz and Elmira College alum Mitch Atkins each had a goal and two assists for Elmira.

Elmira is in second place in the FHL standings with 55 points and have an eleven point lead over third place Watertown.

The Carolina Thunderbirds are in first place with 85 points and have won 19 straight games.

The Enforcers begin a two-game series at First Arena against the Mentor Ice Breakers on Friday at 7:05 p.m.
