Frankie Littlejohn returns to Elmira

Enforcers sign hockey standout

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) - The Elmira Enforcers had some major announcements on Wednesday. 

In a big time move, the team signed former Elmira Jackals player and city icon, Frankie Littlejohn to a contract. Littlejohn played for the Jackals in the mid-2000's and brings a wealth of knowledge with 16 years of hockey experience. Frankie is thrilled to back in Elmira as the Enforcers continue battle for an FHL championship. 

Also of major note, the Enforcers traded for Watertown goalie Cody Porter, sending the rights of Chase Tippin and backup goalie Blake Scott to the Wolves. Porter will be a valuable asset along with starting goalie, Troy Passingham, the rest of the season into the playoffs. 

Plus, a third and final major announcement at First Arena, on the heels of the Enforcers successful NYPD exhibition game last month, Elmira will host another special contest. On March 13th, Elmira welcomes the FDNY hockey team for an exhibition game. The night will be dedicated to the courageous first responders in NYC and beyond.
