WETM-TV takes a look back on one of the top baseball players in local history.
On Tuesday, Horseheads Mikey Limoncelli was drafted in the 2019 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners in the 6th round at pitcher.
With the selection, Limoncelli becomes the first player from Horseheads since Dylan Manwaring to be selected in the draft in 2013. Corning native, Zach Sullvian, and Hornell graduate, Jordan Schwartz, were the last Twin Tiers area players to be picked in the draft back in 2014.
