Pioneers Fall at Home to Blue Sox

The Elmira Pioneers lost to the Utica Blue Sox 12-5 on Saturday night at Dunn Field.

The Blue Sox scored six runs in the third inning to take a 8-0 lead.

Khalyd Cox hit a home run and went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI’s for the Blue Sox.

Tom Henderson went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers are now 6-13 this season and are on the road against the Jamestown Jammers on Monday at 7:05 pm.
