It was a day to remember for the Corning rugby team.
Two standout players, Devin Hoskins and Nate Mosher, made their college plans official Thursday, Hoskins signed to compete for the Bonnies of St. Bonaventure to play division one rugby. Hoskins was also a standout on the Elmira Express football team for four years and has excelled in the classroom. Devin is the vice president of the Elmira high school Youth Activation Committee and was an instrumental part in Elmira’s first-ever unified basketball season.
Hoskins plans on studying sports management while at St. Bonaventure.
Mosher, meanwhile, is a Horseheads high school senior will attend Iona College to play D-I rugby. Mosher was a standout on the Blue Raider football program and intends on majoring in criminal justice while at Iona. Mosher is also an exceptional student and thrilled to take his talents to the next level.
