Two Pioneers Named PGCBL All-League First Team


Elmira Pioneers infielder Conor Grammes and starting pitcher Houston Roth have been named to the PGCBL All-League First Team.

Grammes hit .377 with three home runs and 36 RBI’s this season and won the Home Run Derby.

Roth had a record of 2-1 with a 1.75 E.R.A. with 46 strikeouts is seven starts for the Pioneers this season.

Roth set a new PGCBL record with twenty strikeouts in a game this season.

Pioneers catcher Marshall Gilbert, outfielder Ayrton Schafer, starting pitcher Grant Donahue, and DH and relief pitcher Allbry Major were all named to the second team.
