(WETM)- A ton of action took place today across the Twin Tiers as we dive into another week of sports.
Waverly girls volleyball matched up against Edison at home in a back and forth battle. Waverly and Edison split the first four sets winning two a piece.
In the end it was Waverly who pulled out the win in the fifth and final set.

In other games across the Twin Tiers the Elmira Notre Dame girls soccer team hosted Newark Valley and it was Newark Valley coming out on top by a score of 2 – 1.
Athen’s boys soccer was also in action today as they rolled passed Troy by a score of 8 – 0.
