Horseheads native Joe Gilbert is ready for the Super Bowl.
Two weeks ago, Gilbert made his return to the NFL after a one-year hiatus from the league. Gilbert was signed by the Tampa Bay Bucs at their new offensive line coach and reunites with colleague Bruce Arians. The move for Gilbert was a patient one. Joe spent last year as the run-game coordinator at Arizona University for the Wildcats, which was preceeded by five years in Indianapolis as the Colts offensive line coach.
Gilbert took a few moments to speak with 18 Sports and discuss this Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup between the Rams and Patriots. As Gilbert makes his return to the NFL, he tells us about the magnitude of the game and what we can expect on Super Bowl Sunday.
