The PIAA baseball and softball championships begin this week.
Here is a look at teams that will be competing in the state tournament from the Northern Tier:
H.S. Baseball
Sayre vs. Greenwood – Class A first round, 6/4 – 6pm @ Newport H.S.
Wellsboro vs. Schuylkill Haven – Class AA first round, 6/4 – 7pm @ Pottsville H.S.
H.S. Softball
Northeast Bradford vs. Williams Valley – Class A first round, 6/4 – 3pm @ Turbotville
Wyalusing vs. District II champion – Class AA first round, 6/4 – 3pm @ Turbotville
