The Elmira College Soaring Eagles softball team split a doubleheader with Cazenovia College on Sunday at Eldridge Park Stadium.
Elmira College won game one 14-2 in five innings.
Emily Clark went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI’s for the Soaring Eagles.
Thomas A. Edison grad McKenzie Slaven earned the win by going the distance while allowing two runs and striking out four.
Cazenovia won game two 5-3.
McKenzie Harris went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI’s for the Wildcats.
Maddy Johnson went 4-for-4 with a run scored for the Soaring Eagles.
Elmira College (2-1) will continue non-conference action on the road on Tuesday, March 27, when they battle the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in a doubleheader.
