Syracuse University’s wide receiver Steve Ishmael has picked up two more All-America awards on Monday, Dec. 11.

The Orange standout earned second-team honors from the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and third-team recognition from the Associated Press.
Today’s accolades are latest for Ishmael, who was named to SB Nation’s All-America First Team and the Walter Camp All-America Second Team last week.
Ishmael is the second player in Syracuse history to garner FWAA All-America honors at the wide receiver position.
Following Amba Etta-Tawo’s third-team selection last season, Ishmael’s AP honor marks the second year in a row an Orange wide receiver has earned All-America plaudits from the service.
Ishmael leads the ACC and ranks among the national leaders in receptions (2nd – 105), receptions per game (t-1st – 8.8), receiving yards (4th – 1,347) and receiving yards per game (4th – 112.3).
