SVEC Football Falls at Home to Dryden

The Spencer-Van Etten/Candor Eagles football team lost at home to the Dryden Purple Lions 14-7 on Saturday in Candor.

Dryden led 6-0 at halftime.

Brady Rose returned the kickoff at the beginning of the third quarter for a touchdown for Dryden and the Purple Lions added a two-point conversion on a run by Garet Marsh to take a 14-0 lead.

Spencer-Van Etten/Candor (1-2) is on the road against Newark Valley next Saturday at 1:30 pm.
