Crockpot Cranberry Chicken

6-8 chicken thighs, bone in and skinless
2 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. dry thyme
1 package onion soup mix
4 cloves minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
2 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
1 seedless orange, sliced thinly
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup honey 

Basic Preparation

Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with the salt, pepper, onion soup mix, and thyme. Now, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, making sure to spread evenly over the chicken. Place the sliced orange evenly on top of the onion and garlic.

In a medium bowl, add the cranberries, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Stir to combine evenly. Next, pour the cranberry mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve over white rice and finish the plate with steamed broccoli. You now have a very tasty and colorful holiday meal.
