Strawberry Mousse Pie
16 oz. fresh whipping cream
16 oz. fresh or frozen strawberries, pureed
6 tbsp. powdered sugar, divided
4 tsp. gelatin powder
2 tbsp. water
9-inch graham cracker crust, homemade or purchased
Add the water to the gelatin and microwave for 10 seconds. Give it a stir and set aside. Puree the strawberries with half of the powdered sugar and gelatin until well pureed. Set aside while you whip the cream.
Using a power mixer, whip the cream and the remaining powdered sugar until semi stiff. Now, fold the strawberry mixture into the whip cream until uniformly combined.
Transfer the mousse to your pie shell and spread evenly. Refrigerate for about 4 hours before serving. Serve with sliced strawberries and enjoy this classic dessert treat.
