Arctic League summer benefit concert

On Wednesday evening WEHH along with Dr. Coleman hosted their first annual summer concert to benefit the Arctic League. The concert was all about bringing the kids Christmas joy and showcasing the world-class musical talent in the Twin Tiers.

Numerous musicians took part in this event, which was located at the majestic Elmira-Heights Theater. The concert was emceed by Ray Ross, a legendary radio legend.

Last year the organization provided toys and gifts for kids for around 1,400 families; they hope to do the same this year.

Arctic League has been around for over one hundred years, Dr. Coleman thinks, “it’s unique and something Chemung county and this region can really be proud of.”

The event did so well this year, that they are already planning on having another summer benefit concert next August.
