NEW YORK (AP) — Fire officials say a man has been found dead in a junkyard fire in the Bronx.
PIX11 reports the unidentified worker’s body was found on Thursday. The worker was one of two who were originally reported missing in the Wednesday afternoon fire in Eastchester that burned tires and junk cars and spewed thick black smoke.
The other worker was hospitalized with severe burns.
Fire officials say it took about 150 firefighters to put out the blaze.
