SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse dropped its season opener at No. 18 at North Carolina 31-6.

SU was outgained in total offensive yards 463 to 202. Tommy DeVito finished 13 for 31 with just 112 passing yards and was sacked 7 times.
