The next weather-maker brings a chance for light snow showers Wednesday night. Temperatures near freezing through the overnight, and enough warm air aloft to allow for patchy freezing drizzle to also be possible. Side roads and untreated surfaces may become slippery into early Thursday. A quick dusting up to 0.25″ of snowfall possible. Lows Wednesday night near 30 degrees.
Showers may linger for Thursday, but any precipitation staying light. Otherwise, limited sunshine with a breezy northwest wind. Highs Thursday in the low to mid 30s. Dry air with high pressure at the surface, this leads to some clearing for Thursday night. Lows Thursday night in the mid to upper 20s.
Dry weather continues into Friday with some sunshine to start. Increasing clouds late day as the next low pressure system approaches the region from our south. Chance for freezing rain to rain returns into Saturday, depending on how far north this system reaches into the region. Still, we can’t rule out some stray showers. Slight chance for showers on Sunday. Highs this weekend into the 40s.
