Low pressure tracking up the coast brings our next chance for showers into the weekend. Clouds thicken ahead of this system for Friday night. Lows Friday night near 30 degrees.

Freezing rain is possible into the predawn hours Saturday with temperatures in the low 30s for the onset of showers. Some slick spots possible on untreated roadways. Chance for rain showers continues through the morning and afternoon, but rainfall amounts staying light. Estimated rainfall of 0-0.25″ for the day, highest amounts being in the Northern Tier. Winds shift to out of the northwest for the afternoon bringing in colder air and also keeping clouds overhead into the evening. Highs Saturday in the upper 30s to mid 40s, warmest air staying the Northern Tier. Lows Saturday night near 30 degrees. Northwest winds also setting us up for lake-effect showers Saturday night into Sunday, but snowfall staying light. Estimated snowfall into Sunday of 0-0.50″, highest amounts in the Finger Lakes and to the north.

Highs Sunday into the mid to upper 30s. Cold northwest winds and clearing skies Sunday night with lows into the teens. Low pressure moving over the Great Lakes brings a chance for a wintry mix by late day Monday. Chance for a wintry mix continues overnight into early Tuesday, then transitioning to rain for the afternoon. Highs Monday in the low 30s, and into the 40s for Tuesday.
