A line of strong thunderstorms moved through the area during the overnight hours, bringing with them damaging winds and one notable tornado warning. Drying out as we move into the day, but cooler air behind the front will drop daytime highs into the 50s.
Winds will turn gusty for the afternoon hours, with wind speeds likely hovering around 10-20 miles per hour with the possibility of 35+ mph gusts. Showers may also linger throughout the day, and those could turn into snow flurries during the evening and nighttime hours as lows drop to near freezing.
Rain will stick around for most of the week, but warmer temperatures in store as well. Highs will return to the 70s by Thursday, but the chance of thunderstorms also returns by Friday.
