We wake up this morning to a wintry mix of snow, rain and freezing rain, especially in higher elevated areas. Give yourself some extra time as some untreated surfaces may be slick – so take it slow on the roads. This wintry mix will transition over into all rainfall for the late morning and afternoon as highs reach the mid-40s. rainfall totals looking less than a half an inch. Any snowfall accumulations look to stay light with a glazing of ice possible. Winds will be breezy out of the south 5-15 mph with gusts over 20 mph at times.
Headed into Friday night showers linger but we begin to slowly dry out, lows stay in the mid to upper 30s. Once we approach Saturday morning some light rain showers may linger but we see mainly dry conditions with partly sunny skies developing towards the afternoon. Southerly flow continues as we see highs near 60 degrees.
Moving into Sunday we wake up to some sunshine with clouds increasing with our next chance for showers entering late. The warming trend continues with highs on Sunday in the mid to upper 60s. Monday we track our next weather maker entering the region. Rainfall is likely then, but we will be very warm, highs near 70 degrees. Shower chances continue into the beginning of next week.
