AVERAGE HIGH FOR APRIL 8TH: 54°
AVERAGE LOW FOR APRIL 8TH: 31°
MONDAY SUNRISE: 6:39 AM
MONDAY SUNSET: 7:40 PM
We wake up to start your week with mild temperatures, but you will want the rain gear when heading out the door as we track showers and the chance for scattered thunderstorms through the morning and afternoon. We do have that chance for a few rumbles of thunder, primarily before 5 pm this evening. We may see some pokes of sunshine this afternoon, along with temperatures approaching the mid-70s, thus instability in the atmosphere is high, so that risk for showers and storms continues.
Tonight we see mostly cloudy skies, staying mainly dry as a slightly cooler airmass moves into the region. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid-40s. The chance for showers returns on Tuesday, temperatures still warm in the low to mid-60s, but not as mild compared to Monday. A second system moves through bringing that risk for showers, but also cooler temperatures into midweek.
Wednesday some sunshine returns with mainly dry conditions continuing into Thursday. Showers may linger into early Wednesday in the form of a wintry mix. After a frontal boundary moves through Tuesday, we see highs Wednesday in the upper 40s, and mid to upper 50s on Thursday.
We then track another chance for rainfall moving in late week with temperatures back into the 60s for Friday.
