AVERAGE LOW FOR JULY 23RD: 58°
TUESDAY SUNRISE: 5:51 AM
TUESDAY SUNSET: 8:35 PM
Drier air continues to work into the region Tuesday night. Lingering isolated showers and thunderstorms coming to an end around dark with decreasing clouds. Limited to no cloud cover overnight, moisture at the surface and light winds set the stage for radiational cooling along with valley fog development. Lows Tuesday night near 50 degrees.
A weak upper level disturbance continues to bring a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms Wednesday. Little moisture over the region for this system to tap into, though. Rainfall amounts staying light, most under 0.10″, but isolated higher amounts can’t be completely ruled out in any convection that may develop. Otherwise, a mostly to partly sunny day Wednesday with highs near 80 degrees. Partly cloudy to mostly clear Wednesday night with patchy fog. Lows Wednesday night near 50 degrees.
A near repeat of Wednesday’s weather for Thursday. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms again possible. Highs Thursday near 80 degrees. A large area of high pressure building into the region Thursday night into Friday. Sunshine continues Friday and Saturday with dry weather. Temperatures again warming into the 80s by Friday, and highs for the weekend into the 80s. Chance for showers and thunderstorms again on Sunday.
