AVERAGE LOW FOR JULY 26TH: 57°

FRIDAY SUNRISE: 5:54 AM

FRIDAY SUNSET: 8:33 PM

Isolated rainfall coming to an end around sunset Friday. Mainly clear skies overnight and light winds set the stage for river valley fog late. Lows near 60 degrees.

High pressure still in control of our weather for the start of the weekend with mostly to partly sunny skies for Saturday. Models hinting at some instability, and when combined with afternoon heating, this may trigger isolated showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts staying light, under 0.10″, but isolated higher amounts possible in any convection that may develop. Southwest winds keeping the summer heat with us. Highs Saturday into the mid to upper 80s and dew point temperatures into the 60s, so feeling muggy for the afternoon. Turning mainly clear Saturday night with another round of river valley fog. Lows near 60 degrees.

High pressure slides east Sunday, and southwesterly winds continue to usher in some moisture. Instability again present for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop. Best timing for rainfall in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs Sunday into the low to mid 80s. Chance for showers and thunderstorms again Monday afternoon and evening. Highs Mondy into the mid to upper 80s, feeling humid with dew point temperatures near 70 degrees. A slow moving cold front makes an impact for Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms both days. Slightly cooler and drier air returns for the end of the next work week.
