AVERAGE HIGH FOR JULY 6TH: 82°
AVERAGE LOW FOR JULY 6TH: 57°
SATURDAY SUNRISE: 5:38 AM
SATURDAY SUNSET: 8:46 PM
Another line of showers and thunderstorms will move through this afternoon with temperatures approaching the 90s for highs. Dew points for the region will be in the lower 70s, providing plenty of lift for showers and thunderstorms to use. Cloud cover from overnight will help cap off instability some, but the heat and available sunshine we receive will provide some instability for the storms to use. These storms will be slow moving from the northwest to the southeast and the main concern with them is heavy downpours. With those heavy downpours, flash flooding will be very possible. The min threat will be out of the region by 8PM and that is when we will begin to clear out with lows tonight in the mid 60s.
Tomorrow, high pressure sets in and will remain through Wednesday. Clouds decreasing throughout the day with some isolated showers possible in the early morning. Highs in the lower 80s expected and sunny as we get into the afternoon. Tomorrow sees lows in the mid 60s.
A beautiful beginning to the work week is expected with dry conditions and sunny skies. Highs Monday once again in the lower 80s and that will be the story for Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Another system starts to creep up Thursday and Friday bringing us more rain chances.
