Happy Friday Twin Tiers! We track a mainly dry start to our morning with overcast skies. We see a few pokes of sunshine today but the humidity and cloud cover is here to stay. After yesterdays severe weather across the area, we are tracking another batch of potentially severe storms this afternoon and evening. They do not look to be as widespread as yesterdays storms, however, they do start to pop up around 2 pm once again. High temperatures this afternoon remain close to average near 80 degrees. Any pokes of sunshine this afternoon will help to fuel these pop-up showers and storms. Any rainfall we do see will weaken and dissipate by Friday night. Lows overnight will be near the low to mid-60s.
A very active weather pattern looks to remain for this weekend. Showers and storms possible both Saturday and Sunday afternoon as multiple waves of low pressure push their way through the Twin Tiers. High temperatures and humidity continue to rise into the weekend as well with highs Saturday near the low to mid-80s. Reaching close to the mid to upper 80s for Sunday flirting with 90 degrees entering your workweek on Monday.
Unsettled weather lingers into the start of your workweek with showers possible Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but we do look to finally start to dry out into mid and late next week with drier and sunnier conditions Thursday.
