AVERAGE LOW FOR JULY 22ND: 58°
MONDAY SUNRISE: 5:50 AM
MONDAY SUNSET: 8:36 PM
After our high temperature today made it into the low 90s, we have officially reached the heat wave criteria. High temperatures today and the previous two days were over 90, there we have experienced a heat wave!
Tonight there is a chance to see some isolated showers, most of us will remain dry and under mostly cloudy skies. Patchy fog will develop once again in valley areas. Lows tonight will cool into the low 60s. Wet but cool start to the week, as a system brings a chance to see some steady light rain and scattered thunderstorms throughout Monday. There is the potential to see some heavy rainfall within embedded thunderstorms, which could cause isolated flooding in poor drainage areas! Highs will be in the low 70s.
High pressure will begin to build in behind the passing cold front by midweek. This means that along with the comfortable temperatures this week, we will be mainly dry and sunny! Sunny skies along with fair weather clouds will be around from Wednesday into the beginning portion of the weekend. Highs will hover around our average temperatures, before warming into the mid to upper 80s by the weekend.
