A beautiful Saturday was not hindered by the isolated rain chances that were present for the afternoon. Temperatures slightly below average for the summer made for a very sunny, comfortable day in the Twin Tiers. Tonight, mostly clear skies will allow temperatures to drop to the lower 60s. Patchy valley fog possible tonight and during the overnight hours.
Tomorrow, high pressure sets in and allows for temperatures to warm back up to the lower 80s for the beginning of the work week. Mainly clear skies are expected, however some isolated showers are possible in the very early morning hours. Tomorrow night, temperatures will drop to seasonal averages in the mid 50s.
The rest of the week high temperatures will remain in the low to mid 80s with isolated rain chances throughout. The forecast for Independence Day on Thursday is looking warm, unfortunately cloudy skies and rain chances are present.
