AVERAGE HIGH FOR JULY 10TH: 82°
AVERAGE LOW FOR JULY 10TH: 57°
WEDNESDAY SUNRISE: 5:41 AM
WEDNESDAY SUNSET: 8:44 PM
High pressure slowly making its way east off the coast through Wednesday. Most staying dry through the overnight but an isolated shower or rumble of thunder is possible. Otherwise, increasing clouds with patchy fog possible late. Lows Wednesday night in the mid to upper 60s.
A frontal system increases our chances for showers and thunderstorms Thursday. A warm front moves through the region in the morning, which may bring an isolated shower early. Best timing for showers and thunderstorms will be in the late day as the cold front moves into the region. Plenty of moisture available for heavy rainfall, but will be fast moving so that should help limit flooding concerns. Storm Prediction Center keeps the Twin Tiers in a Slight Risk (2 out 5, 5 being the highest) for strong to severe thunderstorm development. Gusty winds and isolated large hail are possible with any strong to severe thunderstorms that may develop. Highs Thursday into the low to mid 80s. Lingering showers and thunderstorms possible overnight. Lows Thursday night in the mid to upper 60s.
Second cold front passes Friday, which may bring a lingering shower and thunderstorm. Highs Friday close to 80 degrees. Decreasing clouds into the overnight with a round of fog late. Lows Friday night in the mid to upper 50s. Saturday brings mainly dry weather with best chances for any rainfall staying to our west. Keeping dry weather for Sunday. Highs this weekend into the 80s.
