Low pressure moving along the coast bringing rain for Monday, turning to lingering showers for Monday night. Additional rainfall staying light, most under 0.10″. Clouds continue Monday night along with fog. Lows near 60 degrees.
Northerly winds continue Tuesday, producing lake-enhanced clouds and spotty showers through the first half of the day. Additional rainfall stays light, most under 0.10″. Highs Tuesday into the mid to upper 70s, still slightly below average for this time of the year. Northerly winds also ushering in drier air. Dew point temperatures dropping into the 50s, so feeling comfortable for the afternoon. Decreasing clouds late day, turning mainly clear overnight. Limited to no cloud cover, moisture at the surface, and light winds set the stage for radiational cooling along with fog development. Lows Tuesday night near 50 degrees.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms can’t be completely ruled out for the afternoon and evening both Wednesday and Thursday, but most staying dry as relatively dry air is in place with little forcing. Mostly to partly sunny for both days with highs near 80 degrees. A large area of high pressure building into the region late-week helps to keep us dry. Temperatures again warming into the 80s by Friday, and highs for the weekend into the 80s.
