Happy Tuesday Twin Tiers! We wake up to dry conditions along with some patchy valley fog that will quickly lift out of the region. Sunshine will dominate everywhere today as high pressure remains in control for the next few days. High temperatures will be a bit warmer than yesterday topping off in the mid 80s. Dew points remain in the 50s which means we stay comfortable. Winds this afternoon will be light and variable.
Tonight we remain mostly clear with patchy fog developing again, which may be dense at times. Lows overnight fall close to 60 degrees. Waking up on Wednesday sunshine looks to return but clouds will increase into the afternoon as our next weather maker approaches the Twin Tiers. As high pressure moves off the coast, winds switch out of the south ushering in the heat. High temperatures on Wednesday will be hot – topping off near 90 degrees in some locations. Definitely a good day to turn on the air conditioner and stay hydrated when playing or working outdoors.
Showers and thunderstorms become likely on Thursday, especially for the afternoon hours. Mostly cloudy skies will remain with temperatures slightly cooler in the low 80s for highs. The shower and storm risk looks to hold on into Friday but we see some more sunshine to end your workweek and being your weekend along with near-average temperatures.
