Happy Friday Twin Tiers! We track high pressure to our north morning which will help to hold in mainly dry conditions for your day today. We are waking up again to patchy fog across the region, this will lift out of here by 8 to 9 am giving way to sunshine. Clouds will mix in this afternoon as a weak system moves off to our south. This could produce a few stray showers and storms this afternoon and evening. The best chance to see these are in the Northern Tier. Most of us will stay dry with high temperatures in the mid-80s along with dew points near 60 degrees, you may feel a touch of humidity when heading out the door but nothing too oppressive.
Tonight we track a few isolated showers lingering with partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will fall close to 60 degrees. Saturday we track more chances for pop up showers and storms into the afternoon and evening but not looking like a lot of rainfall. Otherwise, a mixture of sunshine and clouds with highs near the low to mid-80s. Isolated showers are possible Sunday afternoon, but most stay dry once again with highs slightly cooler near 80 degrees.
High pressure will begin to build in Sunday evening and for your Monday which will bring mostly sunny skies to the Twin Tiers. Early next week looks mainly dry into Tuesday before showers and storms arrive in the forecast yet again mid to late next week along with temperatures near average in the low 80s.
