Good Tuesday morning Twin Tiers! We start your morning off with some patchy fog once again, but this will being to lift out of the region giving way to sunshine for your day today! Along with that sunshine, a few afternoon clouds will develop. The forecast remains hot and humid throughout today – perfect air condition weather as highs will be above average in the mid-80s this afternoon. An isolated shower or storm does exist but not until late this evening and into tonight. Overnight we track clouds increasing with rain chances. Lows overnight falling back into the low to mid 60s – still mild for overnight lows.
Wednesday a more widespread threat for showers and thunderstorms develops as a cold front pushes towards the Twin Tiers. Some rainfall may be heavy at times as this is something we will have to really pinpoint the timeline and totals as we get closer. Right now it looks like showers and storms arrive after the noon hour Wednesday. We remain hot and humid with highs in the mid 80s.
This cold front moves through late Wednesday and early Thursday allowing for a few showers to linger into Thursday before we dry out and start to feel more comfortable. Highs on Thursday remain close to 80 degrees before we fall into the 70s for Friday and the upcoming weekend. Cool, comfortable and sunny conditions look to return Friday and through early next week!
