Happy Friday Twin Tiers! We are much cooler and drier if you are stepping out the door today. Winds out of the northwest will keep us cooler and on the comfy for today. Sunshine to start today so you will need the sunglasses. Winds will help produce some lake enhances cloud cover with an isolated shower possible this afternoon. Most of us start dry as we track highs in the low to mid-70s for your Friday. Dew points will be in the 50s which means we will feel comfortable and dry for today and into tonight. You will not need that air conditioner as we cool off tonight close to 50 degrees with low humidity. Patchy fog may develop late once again.
Your weekend forecast looks beautiful as high pressure builds in keeping us dry and cooler along with mostly sunny skies for Saturday and a mixture of sunshine and clouds for your Sunday. High temperatures will remain on the cooler than average side only topping off in the low to mid-70s both days. We stay dry with no rain chances thus looking like a perfect weekend for any outdoor plans as summer begins to wrap up across the northeast.
High pressure looks to remain in control until Monday, keeping sunshine and dry conditions with us along with temperatures in the mid-70s. Tuesday we track our next weather maker moving in. This will bring the chance for showers and possibly a few storms into Tuesday evening and Wednesday. We warm up as well into mid next week, back towards 80 degrees.
