High pressure the main weather-maker through the weekend. Decreasing clouds Friday evening, turning mainly clear for the overnight. Moisture trapped at the surface, light winds, and limited cloud cover set the stage for valley fog overnight.
High pressure holds for the weekend allowing for dry weather. Still, dry and cool air in place with temperatures slightly below average for this time of the year. Highs both Saturday and Sunday into the 70s, feeling comfortable with dew points in the 50s. Overnight lows near 50 degrees with valley fog into the mornings. Breezy northerly winds producing some lake-enhanced clouds Saturday afternoon, then partly to mostly sunny for Sunday.
High pressure still in control for Monday, but slowly shifting east off the coast. Next frontal system moves in which increases our chance for showers and thunderstorms into midweek. A slight warm-up with highs closer to 80 degrees by Wednesday.
