Happy Friday Twin Tiers! We are off to another foggy start with temperatures on the cool side. We will wake up to some sunshine before a few isolated showers and possibly a rumble of thunder roll through later this morning and afternoon. This is as a frontal boundary approaches from the west. Cloud cover will increase into the morning and afternoon before we clear out around your dinner time. High temperatures today closer to average topping off in the upper 70s near 80 degrees. High pressure then builds into the Twin Tiers allowing for skies to clear tonight and temperatures to fall into the upper 40s and low 50s. Patchy fog develops once again late tonight.
High pressure keeps us dry and sunny for Saturday with increasing clouds into the afternoon ahead of our next weather system. High temperatures cooler, topping off in the low to mid 70s but it will feel comfortable and fall like. Saturday looks to be the best day for any outdoor plans as rain chances roll in Sunday with mostly cloudy skies. Highs on Sunday will also be cool, struggling to reach 70 degrees. Showers look to continue into your Labor Day with thunderstorms also possible. Temperatures warm closer average in the mid to upper 70s for Monday.
We begin to dry out mid next week with sunshine on Tuesday, a few shower chances on Wednesday and more sunshine on Thursday with temperatures warm Tuesday but falling back into the 70s Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
