High pressure building into the region Friday night. Clearing skies with light winds set the stage for valley fog development along with cool temperatures. Lows Friday night near 50 degrees.

High pressure allows for a dry start to the weekend. Filtered sunshine for the afternoon, though. Feeling pleasant with highs in the low to mid 70s and dew point temperatures in the 50s. Building cloud cover and moisture into the region for Saturday night as high pressure moves east. Lows Saturday night near 50 degrees.

The next weather-maker moves in for Sunday. Chance for showers increases for the day. Mainly cloudy and cool with highs Sunday near 70 degrees. Showers likely on Labor Day as we continue with an active weather pattern. Thunderstorms also possible for the afternoon. Highs Monday into the 70s. Drying out for Tuesday, then chance for showers returns Wednesday.
