Happy Wednesday Twin Tiers! A dreary pattern continues into mid-week with patchy fog once again this morning as well as a few scattered showers and storms. We remain mostly cloudy for your day today as a cold front brings another risk for showers and thunderstorms. The best timing to see heavy rain and storms will be this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds and heavy rainfall are possible with and of these storms. Rainfall totals through this afternoon look to range from a quarter of an inch to a half-inch with higher amounts possible. High temperatures this afternoon will be cooler than yesterday in the low 80s. Dew points will be in the 60s so you will feel the humidity when headed out the door at any point today.
Tonight we remain mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Lows overnight near 60 degrees. As we progress into Thursday a secondary cold front moves through the Twin Tiers late day. This will bring the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms yet again. Highs Thursday in the lower 80s again but as that front moves through it will be drawing in not only dry and comfortable conditions but temperatures slightly below average.
Highs Friday and into the weekend reach only into the mid to upper 70s with sunshine returning as high pressure builds into the region. A mixture of sunshine and clouds at times Sunday and staying mainly dry into early next week.
