Happy Tuesday Twin Tiers! Fog lingers early this morning and lifts out around 9 am as high pressure builds into the region delivering a beautiful fall-like day with sunshine and low humidity. High temperatures today remain in the low to mid-70s with a dry air mass over the region means dew points in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Light northerly winds will keep us near average for highs this afternoon. High pressure sticks with us as we remain mostly clear tonight with patchy fog again late. Overnight lows cool slightly cooler than average, into the low to mid-40s. Definitely no need for that air conditioner the next few days.
High pressure looks to remain in control not only for today and Wednesday but the remainder of the workweek. Wednesday plenty of sunshine with comfortable conditions and highs remaining in the low 70s. We do being to warm back up into Friday and Saturday with highs closer to 80 degrees – but sunshine looks to continue. Low humidity also continues as this dry air mass sits over the Twin Tiers making it feel very fall-like. Overnight lows all week in the 40s and 50s with patchy fog developing late.
Our next rain chance looks to arrive early next week, with increasing clouds on Sunday and shower chances Monday. Overall, a beautiful stretch of dry and sunny weather – take advantage of it as much as possible.
