AVERAGE LOW FOR SEPTEMBER 5TH: 52°

THURSDAY SUNRISE: 6:37 AM

THURSDAY SUNSET: 7:35 PM

Happy Thursday Twin Tiers! Patchy fog lingers this morning with cool temperatures. Once the fog lifts out of the region, skies will remain mostly sunny today with high pressure building into the region. A touch of fall will be in the air today with low humidity, comfortable conditions and highs only reaching into the low 70s. We look to remain slightly cooler than average over the next few days. Into tonight we cool close to 50 degrees once again with patchy fog developing after the midnight hour.

Friday we track a few more clouds increasing through the afternoon as Dorian stays off the Eastern Coast of the United States. A weaker disturbance moves in from our west late Friday and into early Saturday that will bring a few showers into the forecast. Friday highs will still remain cooler than average in the low 70s. Saturday partly sunny skies with isolated shower chances into the afternoon. Highs on Saturday near 70 degrees once again.

Mainly dry conditions with low humidity and some sunshine continues into Sunday with highs in the upper 60s near 70 degrees. High pressure builds in early next week keeping us dry and sunny yet again for Monday and into Tuesday before our next weather maker moves in next week. Enjoy the fall-like weather for the next few days across all of the Twin Tiers!
