Decreasing clouds Thursday evening, turning mainly clear for the overnight. Light winds and limited cloud cover help set the stage for areas of valley fog late Thursday night into Friday morning. Lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Valley fog lifts Friday morning as temperatures start to warm. Latest track for Dorian keeps this system riding up along the coast Friday, far enough away to keep wind and most rainfall away from the Twin Tiers. Clouds will be increasing as this system draws closer, though. Weak disturbance coming in from over the Great Lakes also impacting us, which brings the chance for sprinkles to isolated showers during the afternoon, then a few showers possible overnight. Little moisture associated with this, though. Little if any rainfall at all. Highs for Friday in the low to mid 70s, then into the mid to upper 50s for overnight lows.
A weak disturbance brings a chance for light showers Saturday. Little if any rainfall, though. Otherwise, mostly cloudy for the afternoon. Slightly cooler than average temperatures continue for the weekend with highs near 70 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows both nights near 50 degrees. High pressure builds back over the region into early next week, giving us dry weather for Sunday and Monday.
