A weak disturbance over the Great Lakes brings light rainfall to portions of the Twin Tiers Friday evening and isolated showers may linger overnight. Otherwise, mostly to partly cloudy with valley fog late. Lows Friday night near 50 degrees.
Another weak wave impacting the region Saturday. This combined with a breezy northwest wind may produce light showers, otherwise, mostly cloudy skies through the afternoon. Little if any rainfall, though. Slightly cooler than average temperatures continue for the weekend with highs near 70 degrees Saturday. Lingering rainfall tapers Saturday night and lows near 50 degrees.
Decreasing clouds Sunday as high pressure builds back over the region. Highs Sunday approaching 70 degrees. A dry start early next week as high pressure will still be in control. Highs Monday again near 70 degrees. Chance for showers and thunderstorms returns by Wednesday along with warmer temperatures. Highs Wednesday near 80 degrees.
