Wind Advisory in Effect for Portions of the Twin Tiers

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BINGHAMTON HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT SATURDAY.

This includes Steuben, Schuyler, and Tompkins counties.

Winds overnight will be out of the South between 15-30 mph with wind gusts up to 50 mph.

These strong winds will have the capability to blow around unsecured objects, break tree limbs, and scattered power outages are possible.

Take the necessary precautions to ensure there is no damage to yourself and property.
